Holden Volt continues to take the plaudits

The Holden Volt, along with two other models from the Australian carmaker, recently received accolades from a leading car review website to further cement its popularity both here and around the world.

Motoring.com.au picked the Volt, the VF Commodore Sportwagon and VF SS V Redline as the best in their respective categories, according to an August 2 news release.

It is the second year in a row that the Volt has excelled in the Green Car category in motoring.com.au's 'Recommends' review, and this will no doubt further establish it as an excellent homegrown EV option for any Australian fleet manager.

By replacing traditional fuel consumption with a battery-powered engine, the Volt represents one of the best choices for those seeking green cars for their fleet.

In addition to being kind on the environment, the Volt is also set to wow your friends and family.

It packs Holden's latest features and technology, including an advanced "infotainment" centre, heated front seats, reversing cameras and assisted parking, according to the release.

It will keep your wallet happy too - a full charge costs approximately $2.50.

Phil Brook, Holden's executive director of marketing, said that the three awards reflect his company's reputation for outstanding products.

"The Volt has won awards all over the world and with its advanced technology and superb driving character it's a real game changer," he said.

"Having three cars in motoring.com.au's Recommends is a testament to Holden's commitment to delivering our customers some of the best vehicles on the market."

By greatly reducing your carbon footprint, a green car such as the Volt will surely ease your fleet management expenses.

Smartfleet's software for fleet management even has an environmental rating report, to let you know how your fleet is performing in sustainability.

Add a bit of Australian flair to your fleet with the Holden Volt.
