New fleet manager, Smartfleet hits the ground running for NSW Government

The ink is barely dry on the service agreement, and newly appointed fleet management provider, Smartfleet is already in talks with NSW Government agencies about the future of their fleet.

Smartfleet is one of two fleet management providers announced by Minister Dominic Perrottet as a part of the Government’s outsourcing of fleet services. Departments have until 15 April 2016 to select a provider, and Smartfleet is working closely with a number of departments to define the needs of their particular fleet and customising a solution that delivers the best results.

Dave Adler, Chief Commercial Officer for parent company Smartgroup, says Smartfleet is ready to roll. “The signs are very positive; the capability of our services is appealing to various agencies, and we’re happy to keep those conversations going to get the right mix of solutions for each department.”

Smartfleet’s services include:

  • Transactional services
  • Reporting
  • Accident management
  • Telematics
  • Extra car program
  • Pool vehicle booking system
  • Procurement and disposal
  • Service and maintenance
